A Seattle Times news article of 1956, noted that the Associates Grocers Building in Yakima would become a public warehouse. "Formation of the Yakima Warehousing Co., to operate a general public warehouse in Yakima, was announced yesterday. The company, headed by Harry Price, operator of the Gleed Cold Storage & Packing Co., will offer full facilities to manufacturers, jobbers and wholesalers, and will have cold-storage and heated space, clerical help and forwarding services. The company has taken an option on the former Associated Grocers Building. It comprises about an acre of space in a central downtown location."
