In 1926, the Seattle City Light and Power Company operated a West Seattle office at 4315 West Alaska Street. At this time, City Light maintained three offices in Seattle: a main headquarters in Room #204 of the County-City Building and in a storefront at 4526 University Way in the University District. A newspaper ad in the University District Herald, 03/04/1926, indicated that the utility also sold Westinghouse and Hotpoint appliances at its offices.
