This two-story mixed use building contained commercial retail spaces on the first floor, with offices above. It is set in the mostly residential Madrona neighborhood; the building shares features with Colonial Revival houses of the same time, seen in its simplified form (compared to the complex massing of Queen Anne Style), narrow shiplap siding, the brackets supporting the parapet and the projecting corner oriel windows. The bracketing suggests a simplified cornice of the Colonial.
