From 1922-1926, the University Club of Pasadena occupied rented quarters in the Hotel Green. In 1925, with the growth of the club to 387 members, a few parcels of land at North Oakland Avenue and Ford Place in Pasadena were obtained. (The parcel included the house of Reverend R.L. Richardson.) It erected this club house completed on 09/23/1926. This all-male institution voted to admit women in 1986.
