A hotel, known as the Summers Hotel, stood next door to the Baker and Summers General Mercantile Store. A simple gable front building with a false front and a projecting front porch served multiiple needs in the developing town. Its false front sign indicated that the store sold "dry goods, groceries, hats, boots, shoes, clothing, etc."
Demolished; it burned in 1873.
