This two-story elementary school was dedicated on 01/02/1909. According to the "The History of the Star of the Seas Schools," "The spacious two-story building also contained a large basement hall with wide flights of stairs leading up to the first floor. The first floor contained five classrooms, a library and small music room located around a center hallway." The grade 1-7 school had 137 students when it opened.
