Unbuilt. In 1963, Edward Durell Stone's West Coast Office produced the design for this central Sacramento mall that was to cover six city blocks and would contain retail stores, an office tower, and exhibition areas. An underground parking garage was also part of the plan. The project was to be bankrolled by Reynolds Metals Corporation; this was at about the same time that another metals manufacturing company, the Aluminum Corporation of America (ALCOA), was financing the construction of the huge Century City Development in Los Angeles, CA.
