Building Notes
The Robinson's Anaheim Department Store was illustrated in the article, "New beauty in structures with use of white cement," American Journal of Building Design, vol. 2, no. 3, 02/1966, p. 22. A caption of a photograph of the store read:"Split-face white concrete block provides interesting texture for Robinson's-Anaheim, department store in Anaheim, California. Over the past three years, about one million blocks made with white cement have gone into California department stores such as Robinson's, Broadway, Bullock's, I. Magnin, and Lions."
