L.S. Rowe operated a grocery store on the west side of Front Street (later renamed 1st Avenue) just north of Cherry Street, on the northern fringe of Seattle's Pioneer Square business district c. 1880. It appears to have occupied the first floor of a two-story wood-frame building.
