Raymer's Dictionary of Greater Seattle (1913) listed the Emerald Hotel at 2015 Westlake Avenue; the Polk's Seattle City Directory (1924) noted that the Imperial Hotel was located at that address. (Polk's listed an Imperial Hotel at 1408 4th Avenue in 1922 and 1923.)
