Demolished; the City of Bakersfield sought to tear down the Family Service Laundry Building, erected in the 1920s, to make way for its South Mill Creek Redevelopment Project. The architect Clarence Cullimore, Jr., (born 1926) led a brief effort to save this adaptable building.
