The Washington Supreme Court used the Talcott Variety Store as its second meeting space in 1891.
The Talcott Variety Store was a two-story, vernacular, brick commercial building, notable for the T-shaped advertising sign painted on its exterior. The date 1882 was included in the sign, presumably for the date of the store's establishment. Its end facade featured two-over-two windows. with a piece of corrugated metal serving to shelter the main entry.
