Overview
This Modern Chicago School Commercial Style block accommodated a small department store during the first two decades of the twentieth century.
Building History
London's operated its department store at 1111 2nd Avenue in Downtown Seattle, WA, in 1906. By 1912, it was known as the "Panton-London Company Department Store" at 1107-1113 2nd Avenue. (See R.L. Polk and Company's Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1912, p. 1934.) In 1915, the John Panton Company Department Store had a going out of business sale.
