Antonio Maria Lugo (1775–1860) erected this adobe residence, c. 1842, soon after he obtained title to his 22,193-acre Rancho Santa Ana del Chino in 1841. He gave the house to his daughter, Maria de Jesus Lugo, and son-in-law, Isaac Williams (1799-1856). She died in childbirth the following year, but he lived in the dwelling until it was burned by Californio neighbors, during the Mexican-American War.

Demolished; burned on 09/26-27/1846 during the so-called "Battle of Chino," during the Mexican-American War. The site was later occupied by the Boys' Republic School and Treatment Community.
