The Queen City Furniture Company Store operated at 1213 2nd Avenue in 1890. It occupied at least the first floor of a commercial building. James P. Gleason, the President, and Andrew O. Stubb was the Secretary/Treasurer of the Queen City Furniture Company. The space was used later in the decade by Donald E. Frederick (1860-1937) and Nels Nelson's (1854-1907) Frederick and Nelson Store, that originally sold furniture following the 1889 Seattle Fire. It was Frederick and Nelson's second store in Seattle, WA.
