The firm of Anshen and Allen, headquartered in San Francisco, CA, designed this weekend house for a semi-active physician, his wife and their five children, for a clifftop site at Yankee Point, Carmel, CA. A carport placed centrally divided two triangular wings, one containing a service spaces, the other living areas. The architects produced designs for the house's furniture; a triangular dining table, was produced specially for its triangular living room.
The Moore House won an Award of Merit from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in 1955. It featured a floor plan
