The building at 1530 Melrose Avenue in Seattle, WA, served as the location of the Walter Knapp Gallery c. 2012.

This building was threatened with demolition in 2012. The Madison Development Company agreed on 05/08/2012 to save the this building, the Timken Roller Bearing Building and the neighboring Melrose Building, and incorporate these historic edifices into its new 7-story, 115,000-square-foot retail/residential building. This new development would be built behind and above portions of the 1530 Melrose Avenue, Timken and Melrose Buildings.
