Julius Redelsheimer (d. 02/05/1914) managed the Hyams, Pauson and Company Clothing Store at Front Street (later 1st Avenue) and Columbia Street established following the Seattle Fire of 06/06/1889. Redelsheimer later changed the name of the store to the "Redelsheimer Clothing Store." He suffered a stroke on 02/02/1914, and died four days later on 02/06/1914; the Seattle Times eulogized him as a "leading Seattle merchant and pioneer of the state of Washington" (See "Seattle and State Advance During Year 1914," Seattle Times, 01/03/1915, p. 24.) His family operated the business until 06/1916.
