The Sacramento Federal Courthouse, in part, served: "The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of California is based in Sacramento. The Sacramento office serves the counties of Alpine, Amador, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Solano, Sutter, Trinity, Tehama, Yolo, and Yuba. In all, there are 46 civil and criminal Assistant United States Attorneys ("AUSAs") who work in Sacramento along with an administrative staff of 53. The AUSAs represent the United States before 7 United States District Judges and 4 United States Magistrate Judges who sit in the Federal Courthouse in Sacramento."
