The Shingle Style house at 1333 Alvarado Terrace was included in the Alvarado Terrace National Register Historic District. It stood three stories high with rusticated stone facing the first floor. The residence was covered by an unusual and complex cross-gambrel roof, with a prominent turret protruding on the front facade. A candle-snuffer roof topped the turret. An inset porch provided the main entry deep shade.
