The building was moved to a vacant site at 17th Avenue SW and SW 98th Street.

This popular restaurant burned in the 1950s. Jerry Robinson, owner of the White Center News, bought the remaining frame, moved it to a new site a block away (17th Avenue SW and SW 98th Street), and rebuilt it as his newspaper's third office.

The building stood on high concrete foundations, with a main entry approached up several steps. The exterior front facade was faced in square ceramic tile. An oblate octagonal front window, influenced by Asian precedents, illuminated the restaurant's interior.
