In 1930, Theodore A. Peterman (c. 1893-1945) and his wife, Lida (born c. 1895), lived at this residence. The residence had an approximate value of $10,000 in 1930. The Petermans had no children and resided at this house with a servant, Lena Wagner (born c. 1902 in Russia). Peterman operated a plywood manufacturing business begun by his father, T.F. Peterman (d. 1935), the Peterman Manufacturing Company. Peterman would go on to buy the Fageol Motors Company in 1938 and rename it Peterbilt Trucks. He operated Peterbilt and the lumber mill until his premature death in 1945.
