This house was executed for Major J. Cavanaugh, who worked with the US Army Corps of Engineers in Prosser, WA. In 1995, architectural historians T. William Booth and William Wilson were unsure whether or not the Cavanaugh House was still standing. (See T. William Booth and William Wilson, Carl F.
