Building History

Illinois-born architect, Ellsworth P. Storey, designed this residence for Elmer E. Todd in mid-1906. The Seattle Times noted in its article of 08/05/1906: "Ellsworth P. Storey has completed the plans for a new dwelling for Elmer E. Todd, to be erected on Dorffel Drive in Denny-Blaine Park." (See "With the Architects," Seattle Times, 08/05/1906, p. 41.)
