The Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church was located on Spring Street between 1st and 2nd Streets in 1878.

Overview

The Trinity M.E. Church South was in operation in 05/1878. It had Millard Law as its pastor in 05/1878. Its schedule of services was: "Preaching every Sabbath at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday School 9:30 a.m. Prayer meeting 7:45, every Wednesday evening." Building Notes

On 01/28/1882, Samuel Ingham Merrill (1882-1932) and others met at Trinity Methodist Church to organize the first Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) group in Los Angeles, CA.
