A request for contractor's bids appeared in the Building and Engineering News, 01/03/1928 (p. 10): "CLUB BLDGS., ETC. Cost, $65,000 ALAMEDA COUNTY, Cal., Rancho San Pablo, off the Sacramento State highway. Group club house bldgs., golf Imks, tennis courts, swimming pool, etc. Club house will be 2 stories con- taining lounging and grill rooms, locker rooms, etc. Owner— Fairmede Golf Club, 810 Oak- land Bank Bldg., Oakland. Architect — Gwynn Officer, Berkeley Bank Bldg., Berkeley. Contractor — E. F. Henderson, 2118 Shattuck Ave., Oakland."
