Oakland, CA-based architect John J. Donovan (1876-1949) created plans in 1928 for a new dealership building for the Pacific Nash Motor Company. The new building would occupy the site of the previous one, at 28th Street and Broadway in Oakland, and would measure 200 x 200 feet. Donovan put the cost of the new showroom at $100,000.
