This second Bullock's location in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA, opened on 09/05/1951.

Building History

Designed by Welton Becket and Associates, this second department store in the Westwood Village area replaced a Spanish Colonial Revival facility (1932) located at 1002 Westwood Boulevard. Becket's previous firm, Wurdeman and Becket, designed successful suburban branch department stores for the Bullock's chain in Pasadena, CA, and Palm Springs, CA, four years previously.
