This wealthy parish counted some notable Hollywood celebrities among its parishioners, and was able to erect this grand edifice between 1957 and 11/1959.
As devised by its architects, Saint Charles Borromeo Church #3 had a plethora of Spanish Colonial Revival decoration, seen particularly well in the florid Churrigueresque ornamentation around the front entry and the coursed, stepped back massing of the church tower.
