The hotel was a two-story stucco-walled building covered by a gabled roof. It was surrounded by a terrace/retaining wall composed of coursed ashlar. A second-floor covered porch stood on one gable-front end of the hotel. The hotel stood on hundreds of acres located near 1005 Hot Springs Road in Montecito, CA. In 2011, 462 acres of the former hotel property had an asking sales price of $11 million.

Demolished; a fire destroyed the Montecito Hot Springs Hotel in 1920.
