The Wilhoit Family erected the T and D Photoplay Theatre in 1915-1916 on East Main Street in Stockton, CA; the theatre served as a venue for movies, vaudeville, and other live performances. The Fox West Coast Theaters, Incorporated, chain took over the lease of the old T and D, and rechristened it the "California Theatre."
Demolished; this theatre was torn down in 1929 to make way for the second Fox California Theatre in Stockton.
