The Aftermath Club, an early literary and social club in Bellingham, WA, erected this the first women's clubhouse in the State of WA. The Westford Funeral Home purchased the building and rents it out for a variety of social events.
The designer of the Aftermath Clubhouse was aware of Mission Revival architecture becoming popular in CA and elsewhere on the Pacific Coast c. 1900. The extensive use of arches, and the two rounded towers reflect Mission Revival influence.
