Building Notes

A notice in the Architect and Engineer (09/1928) stated: "S. Heiman, architect in the Mechanics' Institute Building, has been commissioned to prepare plans for a Junior High school building at Powell Street, between Bay and Francisco Streets, for the City and County of San Francisco. The appropriation is $400,000." (See "San Francisco School Building," Architect and Engineer, 09/1928, p. 116.)

Another notice in the 10/1929 issue of the Architect and Engineer indicated, "Gymnasium and shop buildings are planned for the Francisco Junior High school, S. Heiman, architect." (See "Francisco Junior High School Notice," Architect and Engineer, 10/1929, p. 111.)
