Original house for Galka Scheyer by Rudolph Schindler (1933) Scheyer was the American agent for Der Blau Reiter group of artists; her important collection of German expressionist painting is now held at the Norton Simon Art Museum, Pasadena, CA.

Gregory Ain, once a draftsman in Richard Neutra's Office, a rival of Schindler's. made an addition to the Scheyer House in 1935.
