This brick factory replaced the previous Holt and Gregg Company Plant in Redding, CA. Anderson was a small town just to the southwest of Redding also on the Sacramento River. It had a larger capacity with a kiln that billowed smoke up a smokestack 121-feet in height. This facility in Anderson, CA, closed in 1920, with its soaring chimney being torn down by 1947.
