Construction of the University of Washington, Seattle, Print Plant/Mailing Services Building was scheduled in 1988 to begin in 02/1989 and finish 12/1989. It was designed to open added space in the nearby Communication Building for other uses. It replaced a smaller 12,166-square-foot Mailing Services Building that was removed in early 1989 or late 1988. Its site was to accommodate this new building's parking lot.
