In 07/2011, the City of Pasadena advertised for volunteers to transport the one-story 439 North Hill Avenue Bungalow off its current site, or be demolished. It was a fine example of an Arts and Crafts Era bungalow, with its shallowly pitched cross-gabled roof, exposed structural framing and expansive front porch carried on battered pylons.
