This post-and-beam residence, erected in 1966, reflected progressive sub-division housing models on the West Coast. In Seattle, Paul Hayden Kirk, particularly, was known for his employment of post-and-beam construction. The house contained 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths, in 1,090 sqaure feet. It occupied a 5,120-square-foot lot, and was located next to two other identical gable-front dwellings. A main feature was the long carport projecting in front. The other half of the projecting gable was covered in plexiglass to admit light to a front garden sheltered by the roof.
In 07/2011, this house had an asking price on Redfin of $365,000.
