Whitman College built its second gymnasium on Isaacs Avenue in 1904-1905, spending $28,000 to make it one of the best college facilities in the Pacific Northwest. A brick building standing three stories tall it contained a swimming pool, locker rooms, gymnastics equipment basketball court and offices. Amazingly, it was used until 1969, when the new Sherwood Athletic Center was dedicated.
Demolished; this facility was removed in the early 1970s. Olin Hall replaced it.
