In 1988 a new visitor facility was completed, featuring exhibits on hydropower production, wildlife and more. The Visitors Center was originally planned to be more elaborate, equipped with its own tramway, but these grander visions were never built. It presents exhibits focused on hydroelectric power generation, dam design and the impact of dams on the natural environment.
