Computer billionaire and liberal political activist Max Palevsky (1924-2010) owned this 11,313-square-foot, 7-bedroom, 8.5-bath mansion in Malibu, CA, at this death in 05/2010. Two-stories in height, the rectangular residence had its long axis oriented parallel to the ocean view and was first erected in the 1920s in the then de rigueur Spanish Colonial Revival Style. It sat on a long, narrow, 6.6-acre parcel with beachfront access via a switchback of stairs. The grounds were wooded and also possessed a pool, spa, tennis court, guest house, and elaborate terraces. In 08/2010, this mammoth abode had the expensive asking price of $55,000,000.
