Building History
To entice the Northern Pacific Railroad Company to pass through Ellensburgh, WA, John Shoudy and other citizens of the town donated land on which to build this depot. (See Paula Becker, "Ellensburg -- Thumbnail History," written 12/23/2005, accessed 06/15/2011.) This early depot occupied a site at the foot of 4th Avenue.
