This 15-story commercial Class A office building, located in the Financial District, had a steel frame, clad at its base in granite, and above with precast concrete panels, colored to resemble limestone. Four passenger elevators were accessible from a lobby with the prerequisite marble and granite mosaic floor. The building contained 126,730 square feet of space, used primarily for offices, but some space was set aside for retail businesses. The developers were Guinness Peat Properties, Incorporated, and Tishman West Management, who commissioned the San Francisco architecture firm, Heller and Leake, to design the building at a cost of $41 million in 1986.
