Henry W. Corbett commissioned Warren H. Williams to design the 4-story Cambridge Block in 1884. An Italianate commercial building, it stood until 1962, when it was demolished to make room for Pioneer Place. In the mid-1950s, the Jennings Furniture Company utilized much of the Cambridge Building and a neighboring one, for a store.
