This was the first out-of-state commission for the Denver, CO-based architecture firm, Roth + Sheppard Architects in 1989. Roth + Sheppard Architects went on to become an important specialist in the design of police facilities.
Tel: 714.245.8665 (2011); this complex included police administration offices and jail facilities. The building was a rectangular in shape with square towers that resembled a fortress's turrets. Stripes on the exterior (appropriate for a jail) clearly delineated each floor.
