This builder's house was designed for mass-production; it utilized inexpensive plywood throughout, had an economical rectangular plan, and did not have a full second floor, but retained a loft for the master bedroom. It cost $29,500 in 1970, averaging about $15 per square foot. The building's first floor possessed a unified living dining space with fireplace on one end, the stairs, kitchen and bath in the center and two bedrooms on the other end. The upstairs master bedroom had a large walk-in closet and a bath. Hal Weiss, President of 20th Century Homes of San Rafael, CA, designed and built copies of the building.
