Building History

William Allewelt was the President of the Tri-Valley Growers when this residence was designed and built between 1976 and 1978.

Building Notes

The Alllewelt House occupied a large property, its immediate surroundings comprising a walnut orchard. The dwelling's simple, gable-roofed form and peripteral porch was reminiscent of Wurster, Bernardi and Emmons's nearby George Pope House, Madera, CA, (1958)
