This multi-story brewhouse designed by Seattle architect Theobald Buchinger (1866-1940) was notable for its fanciful, castellated parapet. A drawing of it was illustrated in Dennis A. Andersen, "Breitung & Buchinger," in Jeffrey Karl Ochsner, Shaping Seattle Architecture, [Seattle: University of Washington Press, 1994], p. 86.)
