J.C. Readman operated this warehouse in 01/1900. A classified advertisement for the Readman Warehouse ran in the Seattle Daily Times on 01/29/1900, page 9.

By 1907, the United Warehouse Company owned the Readman Warehouse at 801-803-805-807-809 1st Avenue South. United Warehouse also owned the Oriental Warehouse (Railroad Avenue and Lenora Street), Oriental Dock (Railroad Avenue and Virginia Street), Washington Cold Storage Warehouse, (Railroad Avenue and Virginia Street), and the Occidental Warehouse (Railroad Avenue and Lenora Street).
