The building at 1303/1307 East Spring Street housed the Avanti Children's Center in 2010. In early 2011, Catholic Community Services, a local charity, owned the property and sought to demolish it to erect a new half-way house for homeless Iraq and Afghanistan veterans.

Tel; (206) 296-6270 (2010); two addresses have been given for the building: 1303 East Spring Street (according to the King County Assessor) and 1307 East Spring Street according to contemporary web site records. In 2011, the building had its second story placed centrally above two one-story wings set on either side. The proportions of both floors were long; the second story had a gable roof set cross-wise to the gable covering the first. Land and building had an assessed value of $953,300 in 2010.

Alterations occurred to the building in 1983. At some point a the second story looks to have been added.

This building was considered for demolition in 2010-2011.
